The Lusk Police Department (LPD) has an ongoing investigation with an automobile theft that occurred on March 20.
At the time, according to Lusk Police Chief Jacob Gordon, the LPD were investigating a series of thefts involving the contents of several residents’ vehicles. One car was actually stolen and later found North of Lusk. The Niobrara Sheriff’s Office helped with locating the stolen automobile.
On May 7, four NCHS (Niobrara County High School) students participated in the University of Wyoming (UW) academic signing day held at the high school. UW Extension Educator, Kellie Chichester worked with Principal Katherine Kruse to arrange the event.
Niobrara County High School art students were given the opportunity to compete in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest.
