NEWPORT, N.H. — A plan to provide senior housing in the Newport community was stopped dead in its tracks when the Newport Zoning Board of Adjustments voted 5-0 to deny a variance to allow for a multi-unit senior housing project called Runway Heights at their meeting on May 16.
